From the moment you step into Crown Cottage, we want you to feel at home. Cosy with little touches of luxury and plenty of space, the cottage is a true retreat in the heart of beautiful countryside. When you are tired from a day exploring the rugged Lake District National Park, you can return to enjoy the comfort of your own cottage. The space has a traditional and cosy feel with all the modern conveniences you could need, making it a true home-from-home. Enjoy the great outdoors without compromising comfort.
Ground Floor
On the ground floor you have your own kitchen and breakfast room, equipped with a dishwasher and washing machine, as well as a Nespresso machine and an Aga range, keeping the room warm and cosy. On the wall is a large OS map of the area, along with a stack of walking and cycling maps for planning your days out. You also have a separate dining room with a table, seating six comfortably, a spacious lounge and seating area, equipped with a woodburner, and a second sitting room with desk space, just in case you need to bring your work with you.
First Floor
Upstairs, each guestroom is a private space for you to unwind in. There is a master bedroom with its own dressing room, along with two more king size double bedrooms, sleeping six adults in comfort on high-quality beds, with luxury bedding and towels. There is a large master bathroom with a bath and a second separate shower room, all complete with luxury fittings. Bath House handwash and hand cream are provided throughout.
Outside
The private outdoor space begins with your patio, complete with barbeque and dining table. This leads up a few steps to the main garden, which has a grassy area with trees and shrubs at the edges. We also have a double garage with parking for two cars, bikes and outdoor equipment storage. There is additional on-street parking in front of the cottage should you need it. Note: The outside area may not be suitable for small children, owing to the hard surfaces and stone steps.
